Well, while I agree that the animated K-On probably is just an excuse to troll out cute moe looking girls... I also thought that this was kind of supposed to be the whole point of it? It's not exactly Evangelion, or anything. If it doesn't strive to present a serious side, then can you really criticise it for not doing so? And, well, at least I found the jokes hilarious. You sort of wonder, if you're going to start out with this kind of negative view point, isn't is expected that you're not going to find it funny, you're just going to sit there thinking "this is ridiculous! Ridiculous!!" to yourself?
It seems a little to me that this is really more a case of somebody not liking something on a personal level, and then finding some kind of quasi-academic vocabulary to justify their opinion...
Anybody have any thoughts on this?
(As a side note, anybody paying attention will notice I've been reading through the Naruto books. I'm not the biggest Naruto fan, but I really love the boys-own-adventure style of writing that Kishimoto has...)

I kind of think it's a good place to put my art (that which I upload at all), and there's a cool portfolio thing, too. Just don't expect comments unless you're already famous (I get no comments) ;D
Where are you going to in Japan?
